I've written about Elly's cute style before, but I'm loving her new bright yellow pants! They were $11 on sale at the Gap. So cheery for winter, especially with striped socks and a teeny braid. (The alphabet poster is from IKEA.)

Many of my friends these days have vintage or inexpensive engagement rings, and I love them! This emerald number would make a sweet engagement ring, don't you think?

Missed connection

In the Missed Connections section on Craigslist, people try reconnect with strangers they shared a moment with on the street (or subway or elevator). Artist Sophie Blackall has been illustrating them for almost a year. This one from New Year's Eve made me smile.

My doctor said that at our next appointment--tomorrow--we should be able to find out if we're having a boy or a girl. Alex and I are so excited and have been dying of curiosity. Bedugul is a mountain town in Bali, Indonesia, located in the centre-north region of the island near lake Bratan on the road between Singaraja and Denpasar. Bedugul is located at 48 km north of the city of Denpasar. Other nearby lakes are lake Buyan, and lake Tamblingan.

Major sites in Bedugal are the Pura Ulun Danu Bratan water temple and the Bedugul Botanical Gardens.

Bedugul enjoys a mild mountain weather due to its location at an altitude of about 1500 m above the sea level.
