No Kisses for You!

During World War II, production of Hershey's Kisses was halted. Not because of a shortage of chocolate, but because the signature aluminum foil packaging was rationed.(Also, the distinctive paper "plume", is called a Niggly Wiggly. It was used by the company to guarantee that consumers were getting the genuine Hershey product, rather than an imitation.)
