Evanescence's new songs 'What you want''and ''The other side'' taken from their upcoming studio album!





As all you know ,the American rockers Evanescence are about to release their third studio album after 5 years (previous one is ''The open door'') on October 11th.Frontwoman ,Amy Lee gave an interview to MTVNEWS about the album's songs and the first single ''What you want''.She also announced later the release of the song ''the other side'' and that the upcoming studio album will be called Evanescence.Look what she announced about ''What you want''.:Tim and Terry and I wrote that song at my house in New York. We were just jamming, like, recording demos, and obviously the song has grown a lot since then, with everyone else. For me, it was — and I need to remember this, so I can apply it in the future — it wasn't trying so hard to be some epic, massive chorus. I was just doodling around on the piano and the guys were like, 'Do that. Whatever you just did, that's an awesome melody.' And I was like, 'Really?' Sometimes you just need your friends to be like, 'Do that!'



The first single will be out on August 2011 ,via Wind - Up Records!
According to Lee's interview this album will be Evanescence's ''darker'' and ''hardest'' one.The new material will be differante about band's previous release bust still ''epic''.
About the new album ,Amy Lee ''fell in love'' with her job again on June 2009 when she started writing new material for the band.After cancelling some the album's release (first one on Ferbruary 2010 with Steve Lillywhite,but collaboration stopped because ''it wasn't coming out nicely'' ,so recordings stopped) the band's new producer is Nick Raskulinecz so Evanescence started again the recording in April ,2011 and finished it in June.
