Adam Young is the man behind the musical project Owl City. Adam created the project while experimenting with music in his parents' basement in Owatonna, MN in 2007. After two independent albums, Owl City gained mainstream success with the 2009 major label debut album Ocean Eyes, which was released with Universal Republic and included the hit single "Fireflies."
