Ass-dragger 2.0!?

While in RVA we spotted this eerily-similar-to-the-Ass-Dragger bike. Almost everything is the same. BMX frame, 20" coaster-brake wheel, big fork and front wheel, BMX bars, cruiser seat. Fucking crazy.

Kevin 2.0

Also in preparation for Slaughterama, we re-worked the Kevin. First I took apart the whole held-together-by-inner-tubes-and-magic seat assembly and replaced all the wackiness with a hose-clamp and a U-bolt. I even drilled a hole for the U-bolt. Go me!

With all this, we managed to move the seat a fair-bit further forward, and while we were at we threw a nicer looking/feeling seat on. Switched out the bars for mustache bars and gave the whole thing a nice shitty paint job. I'm proud.

"Kevin's Bike"

A wacky contraption I built just before leaving and I've been working on. First of all, it's named "Kevin's Bike" after the bicycle Kevin rides in the kid's cartoon Ed, Edd, n Eddy. It sort of looks like it right? maybe we were just drunk. still are?

Anyway, this thing is held together by nothing more than a will to survive. It's basically a flipped bmx frame, with the steering rig from this post. The seat rig is half of the fork from my first tallbike wedged in behind the kickstand plate. Wedged into that is a seatpost from an exercise bike. A bent Free Spirit fork is locked down over the rear axle, and it has one of those cool lean-back bmx seatposts, wedged into it (leaning forward). The two seatposts are connected to eachother by an old bent mtb brake with the spring removed and locked into a fully-closed position. Everything is wrapped with rope and old intertubes for extra strength.

This bike is a WHEELIE MACHINE. It's seat is behind the rear axle, so you have to lean forward and constantly correct tiny wheelies. Great fun!!!!

GT/Robinson BMX Tallbike

Yeah, another bmx tallbike.  I found this one on Velospace.  The Bottom bike is (was) an all-original 24" bmx.  They aren't particularly easy to come by.  I'm pretty tall, and if I got really into bmx, I would probably want a 24" or even a 26" bike.

Even Older School BMX

You may remember this post.  Well this is also cool.  I love 80s BMX.  It's almost like 5-spoke wheels were mandatory.

It's a bit repetitive, but it looks like lots of fun.  I'm going to try to get my friends to do this with me when the water gets a bit warmer.
